About Steven
Steven M. Raiser is a founding partner of Delancey Street Group LLC, bringing over 20 years of legal experience and admission to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. His role at Delancey Street is Chief Strategy Officer, not legal representation. He is a licensed attorney by background; legal services through Delancey are provided by independent counsel from the firm's referral network.
At Delancey Street, Steven leads strategy across complex debt-restructuring engagements. He reviews intake files, sets the workout strategy, and decides which matters warrant referral to the independent attorney network for legal action. When court work is needed, the attorney–client relationship is between the client and the referred independent attorney, not Delancey.
Steven's separate legal practice is at Raiser Kenniff & Lonstein, P.C., where his courtroom work continues independently of Delancey Street. He is admitted in NY, NJ, SDNY, and EDNY, and is a former prosecutor and commissioned military officer.
